4-12-2021 EPIC Spotlight
Are you ready for the “New Normal”?
While the disruptive COVID-19 pandemic brought many changes to our daily lives, it seems that we are finally able to see a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.
An interesting aftereffect of the pandemic was the dramatic shift to digital payments and online financial transactions as consumers were often forced to find ways to continue to manage their financial needs while bank branches and storefronts shuttered for months on end, many continue to be. According to Liz Pagel, Senior Vice President of consumer lending at TransUnion, “Financial institutions that prioritize digital innovation to optimize their consumer interactions are likely to see the most upside over the long-term.”
Furthermore, the side effects of disrupted employment throughout the past year and multiple stimulus payments made to the segment of the market most likely to use small dollar loans are still uncertain with regard to their impact on demand and collections. EPIC believes it’s critical in these uncertain times to not only provide a superior LMS, but to also share any knowledge we gain about challenges and solutions, not only with our system, but within our network of some of the top industry professionals and organizations.
It’s for those reasons that we strive to provide value-added activities like our Annual LendConnect Conference and Webinar Series to connect lenders with our vendors/partners as well as our team to share for resources to share creative ideas and solutions to industry challenges.
